October Post-Mortem

Oh, October. How you consume my life. Every year, everything happens by Samhain... and then November is just dealing with the fallout.

So, what do you do? You look at your missed Pagan Blog Project prompts, shrug, drink your nasty mugwort tea (seriously, this shit is foul) and post some pictures from October's main events.

AbraCadaver

The rest of Bob Ayer's shots from AbraCadaver can be viewed here

I cannot make the above shots line up to my satisfaction... fuck it. The A-B blood recommended to me by the delightful Aleister Crane actually worked, and although I wasn't as smooth onstage as I should have been the number was still well recieved.

The October Taboo Revue!
Also pictured: Tranny Zukko and Buddy Suds. My little devils. Bob Ayer's photography again.

The Elvira Tribute number, preformed to TBM's cover of "I Think We're Alone Now." I don't think you can see in these shots how goddamn big my hair was. Oh, and in case you ever needed to know how to apply Elvira's makeup? Here's a guide.

And finally, Voodoo Pixie and I at a friend's house party. She's "the girl tied to the railroad tracks" and I'm Varla form 'Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!'

I liked the costume so much I wore it again as normal clothes to Longform Burlesque last weekend. :P What? It suits me.

  1. Awesome pics! I too am just recovering from all the witchy-underworld-sexy-artsy events too!
Luckily I have a few more coming up to keep up my momentum.
I hope your harvest was bountiful and your may hearth stay warm!
    Blessed Samhain.

    1. I'm taking a freaking few day 'vacation' to the sticks in order to recharge before I do anything more. I'm so drained - no idea how you're keeping your momentum, man.

      Same to you! :D
